2021.07           Minutes of the Annual General Meeting of Tuesday May 12th  2020 were agreed as a true record and duly signed.

2021.08           Chairman Report

It has been a relatively quiet year due to the Covid-19 virus restrictions.

The Speed Indicator device is still very popular and effective with residents and the Parish Council view it as an excellent investment.  Most drivers respect it and the regular movement of the device is a constant reminder to drivers through the village.

I am investigating the possibility of using bluetooth to supply the Council with information regarding speeds etc which we may be able to use as evidence for speed reduction.

The defibrillator has fortunately not been in use, but remains in place for an emergency primed and checked regularly.

We were unfortunately not able to observe the passing of Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh due to illness.

We now own the telephone kiosk and lots of ideas have been put forward.  The most popular is to house maps and footpaths of the area, information regarding the village and the mosaic and I am pleased to say volunteers have come forward for this project.

I would like to thank members of the Parish Council for their support through the year, Carole for her attendance and input and Viv our Clerk.

2021.09           Annual return and draft accounts for the year to 31.3.2021

The draft accounts were prepared and reconciliation and copies were given to Councillors.   The internal audit had been completed.  The balance at 31.3.2021 was £ 4455.

The Annual Return and Goverance statement were agreed and duly signed and approved for return.  The public will have the opportunity to review the accounts and the dates will be posted on the Notice Board and on the website
